Itinerary...
Day 1
Accommodation:Maroons Drum School (Camping) / Mr Jones Guest House
(Lodge)
Activities: Hiking through various trails and evening drumming.
Destinations: Jaguar preserve
Description: Departing Placencia, explore the famous Jaguar preserve, and the Maroon Drum School.
Day 2
Accommodation:Clarissa Falls or Mountain Equestrian Trail (Camping & Lodging)
Activities: River kayaking (inflatables) along The Caves Branch River.
Destinations: Clarissa Falls.
Description: Travelling by inflatable kayaks, through a network of caves which are situated on the caves branch river off of the hummingbird highway.
Day 3
Accommodation: Clarissa Falls or Mountain Equestrian Trail (Camping & Lodging)
Activities: Mayan ruins of Xunantunich.
Destinations: Xunantunich, Big Rock Falls
Description: Tour of Mayan ruins followed by trip to see the 40ft waterfall, plus a little swimming and a final dinner together!
Day 4
Accomodation: None
Activities: Return to Airport, San Ignacio or Placencia Airport
Description: Transport to Belize city airport before midday to connecting international flights, or elsewhere by arrangement.
