Caves To Cayes Jan 2005 The trip was fabulous, kayaking and jungle adventures were amazing! Daria and Carla were both terrific as well as the local guides. Caye Caulker was a great call, could have probably stayed for a couple of more days. Major apologies on my part to Carla in that we had her frantically trying to find our voucher for the hotel on Caye Caulker when all along I had it (you gave it to me). Caves to Cayes Our SeaKunga trips were really enjoyable. The Caves to Cayes trip is adventurous and exposes you to a variety of cultures in Belize. While the destination cayes (like Sapodilla Base Camp) are good for beach sitting and lounging. The guides we had were good and knowledgeable. It?s best to approach the trip in a laid back Belizean fashion.

Rivers and Rainforests. I'll never forget the great dinner we had during a wind storm! Our guide went spear fishing for our dinner, then climbed a coconut tree to get fresh coconut juice for our rum punch. The inner tube ride through the jungle river was amazing? we found a big pool and climbed up some vines, then swung Tarzan-like and splashed into the water. Our guide Kenty was a great singer and guitar player! It was one of my most memorable trips ever.

Custom Belize trip. We had a group of 12 on a customized trip: 2 weeks kayaking among the cayes, then a week of inland jungles and caves. I really enjoyed the kayaking. It was nice and leisurely with plenty of snorkeling. The food was better than we had at most resorts! We caught the fish or bought it fresh from fishermen, and our guides cooked it right in front of us. We had a great time!

Paddle in Paradise and Jungle Explorer. One of the things I really liked was our local guide--Mr. Berty's knowledge of the area and expertise were great! I loved the fresh fish he caught for us while we sailed in from the cayes. The paddling and snorkelling were spectacular.
